Hey, used to watch Giacomo Agostini ride a Laverda against Sheene in the 70's, didn't do much for Laverda's reputation for reliability as every time Sheene went past him he would supposedly break down! Great days though, I was told that Sheen lived up the road from us in Carrara until he died.

lol theres no changing the laverda then...its a joy when it starts hahaha

but as it goes the laverda did actually have an excellent career in racing, at the time the held records, were the bike to beat, but as all the others moved on in technology i think the guys at laverda must have been on holiday...
