Its pretty good for everything really. There's nothing outstandingly 'special' about the suburb, but it has schools, library, some shops and restaurants etc, 5 mins from the coast (just mud not sand), 2 mins from main motorway to Gold/Sunshine Coast etc.
We're moving within Bracken Ridge actually and its purely for monetary purposes as we're building to reduce the mortgage. I commute in to the city every day, and although the commute can take a while I do chose to drive almost all, if not all the way in... commute time could be reduced by getting the train. Without rush hour its only 20mins (16km) into the CBD.
PM if you want any more info on the area, I don't get much time to log on and read all the posts anymore

The tide was in, and I had my camera with me today at the local beach, (Victoria Point), so I grabbed another picture:

Bloody hell, next you'll be accused of being one of those "beach & big 'ouse" blokes ABC - always down the beach

Well... we had just gone out for some Milk, and the beach was just around the corner, and the little one did want to play in the sand

It was 4.30pm when I took that photo, so almost getting dark. I also got a photo of Jupiter last night, but that doesn't fit in on a beach thread
