Sorry Martin never been there myself but have had a look and it looks very nice. Seems quite reasonbly priced as well. Are you intending on moving to this area if/when you migrate.

What is your purpose in hiring this house. If you want to visit the Gold coast attractions you might want to be a little closer.

I am looking for a furnished place for the 1st 4 weeks after arriving (whilst waiting for our stuff to arrive). I tried happykoalahomes but they have no vacancies, so am looking elsewhere.

I expect the 1st few weeks to be busy house hunting/car hunting so not too much time for the delights of the Gold Coast I'm afraid!

Cheers

Martin

You mean you are leaving lovely sunny Dartford for Brisbane! Whereabouts in Dartford do you live, East or West?

Hi Karen

Actually live in Hawley (couple of miles outside Dartford), but I still refer to it as Dartford. You from this neck of the woods then?

Yep - live in West Dartford for my sins. Isn't Hawley the place with no pubs?

Are you going to the Exhibtion over the weekend. We are going tomorrow, but it seems everybody else is going Saturday, at least we will miss the crowds.

Looks great, I havnt heard of that one before, its a bit further out than the happy koala homes place but still within a reasonable distance of everything.
Good luck! When do you arrive?

Hi Mc

We arrive 30th May. Happy Koala Homes didn't have any vacancies, but, as you say, this looks good. The only other alternatives I seem to be finding are furnished apartments which is not really what we want.

Thanks for the good wishes - getting close now So much still to do
