It all depends on what lifestyle you want (you will be sorted for work no matter where you go in oz)
If you want a slow pace, wineries and festivals and being close to the sea and hills, then Adelaide is for you.
If you want the choice of a not so slow type of life with the choice to go to theme parks and more beautiful scenery and wildlife and more interesting places to visit, then Brisbane/Gold coast would be for you.
I just know that more people have moved to Queensland from Adelaide than the other way around.
