Bringing the telly?
Hi every one!
I'm new here. Just hope this is the right place to ask.
We are moving to Tassie just as soon as the house gets sold but can't remember if british tv's will work over there.
anybody know?

Hi,
the answer to that is:
Some will, some won't, is the general consensus of opinion.
If its a pretty new one, there is a good chance it will be OK, but older ones are pot luck.
They can however be converted. I think the cost is about $80.
A search for TV should bring up plenty of posts and answers on that question

I think that if it has a scart connection that you can watch it thru your Oz video - just have to get used to changing channels thru your video remote!!!!

It is brand new widescreen so i probably will bring it then. I doubt if the satelite boxes will work though.
