Hi all,

I'm planning to move permanently to Sydney in September and need some advises on bringing personal effects.

Besides clothings and shoes, i would like to bring with me the following items:

- A new DVD player
- A new electric steamer
- My used pillow and bolster

Will there be a problem briniging these 3 mentioned items???

I'm particularly worried about not able to bring in my used pillow and bolster as i can't sleep without them!

Can someone advise me please.....Thank you in advance...

You should 'lose' the receipts and boxes of your 'new' equipment because there's duty to pay on bringing new items in. Just get them packed in something old or whatever when you bring them.
