He's currently doing ok (not great, but ok) on soy formula & some mum's milk.
However, we're off to Oz in a couple of weeks time for a much needed holiday & need to bring his formula along.
What do I do at the customs/immigration about this, as it is a food product?
Any help?

Alternatively you could forget all about it, let the very friendly sniffer dog seek you out, blunder through the x-ray machine and just about get away with a warning because you look so totalled ... like we did

It's worth a try. We brought as much as we possibly could in luggage which was just as well as we didn't get our stuff from the container for about 12 weeks.

We brought several cans of soya milk to Perth, only to have them confiscated by customs. Started to kick a fuss up, told them it was not a milk product and sons medical problem (lost sight in one eye through intolerance to mothers milk and formula milk) could go completely blind if we give him milk. Anyway customs man took all cans sealed or not. I am not sure of official policy of customs but probably depends on who deals with you.

Re: Bringing in baby formula to Oz
We went through with formula in April - allowed as many sealed cartons as you can fit, plus one open carton of powder in your hand luggage (as long as it's declared)
Does anyone know what the Cow and Gate equivalent is in Aus? She's on #3 if that helps!
Thanks
