Re: Brighton & Hove Albion
I played cricket for Lewes Priory CC, you know anyone from there??
That's just too weird.I worked at HQ in Lewes from 1989 till moving down to Brighton. I'm actually a Forest fan, but I'll always have a soft spot for the Seagulls.
There's a few other ex-Brightonians on here, people who were at college down there. I know of at least one more who's not posted on here, and someone was posting yesterday about being ex-Sussex Uni.

No-one to my knowledge, though most of the people I worked with in Lewes were locals, so its possible.
The father of my closest friend at that time was heavily involved in local cricket, he played for Cooksbridge (I think) but lived in Lewes.

Hi
I've lived in Sydney for 8yrs. Sydney FC and BHA fan. Born in Brighton grew up in Hove in the shadows of the Goldstone floodlights.
I did see a few years back that some Sydney based Seagulls fans would get together for a drink or 10 but never followed up on it. Google will help you there I'm sure.
Starting to miss the place as the stadium comes together

Hey,
Just been reading all your posts - I too am a Brighton fan (grew up in Brighton and Lewes), didn't know there were so many of us out here in Aus!
I'm going back for a short break in October so will have to update you all as to the progress of the new stadium

Re: Brighton & Hove Albion
Not a footy fan myself, but just moved out here from Brighton, only been down there 5yrs but my most of my family have been there over 20yrs,
Love the diversity of the place,
But not missing it that much just my family and friends

Stadium might look a little different if you ever get to go again.

It will probably resemble that again, after 1 particular game at Foulmer
Well done Brighton... next season will be more interesting now

Re: Brighton & Hove Albion
It's my duty as a Life Long Palace fan to find a negative spin on this... and I think I've managed it...
Rochdale have performed amazingly over the last Two seasons... and are the best improvers in the whole League let alone League One... Could even get promoted twice in Two seasons after decades in the doldrums. League One Accolades belong to them...
Hmmm might get away with that one ...
