Bricklayers in Melbourne
First a Brief History: My boyfriend and I are going to Australia in March 2005. I am Australian - my boyfriend is from the UK. He has residency for Australia through my sponsership (defacto) - we lived in Sydney for four years from 1997-2001 but returned to the UK to decided where we want to live!!
The decision has finally been made - it is time to return to Australia. We are thinking of settling in Melbourne (where I am from) but we are concerned about work out there for bricklayers. It sounds like it should be busy with the Commonwealth Games coming up etc but there does not seem to be many jobs on www.mycareer.com.au or www.careerone.com.au.
I was wondering whether there was any British bricklayers who are working in Melbourne online and how they find it in Melbourne??? Is it easy to pick work at the site offices etc if so can anyone recommend where to go.
Also, if anyone wants to ask me any questions about Melbourne/Sydney/visa applications I will try to help!!
