Hi Guys

How many of you are absolutely bricking it?? We are leaving in 8 days time :scared: and one minute I feel absolutely calm and relaxed about the entire thing and the next minute adrenalin is rushing through me and I'm bricking it!! Not even sure what I'm nervous about? Very strange!

The only thing that gives me a clear mind is wine!!

I think when you get down and worried just remember how you felt waiting for the little piece of paper that is a visa and think about how many people would love to be in your position now and post that they are leaving in 8 days. I know I would. Good luck and enjoy the ride and the weather.LOL

I cant believe you are off so soon Rooksie, with all the emotions you have been through and now its a case of this time next week you will be in the life you have planned for, saved for and sweated for.

Are you going into holiday accommodation first? I reckon we will do that ourselves.

yep!! we have a month in a self contained unit in caloundra! but first week will be spent checking out schools

All the carers at my daughters nursery are getting upset because its her last week. I think they must have here confused for someone else.
Its weird though hearing about the activities for next week now knowing we wont be here.
Good though postponing meetings at work - "it can wait till next week".

AAH we will be homeless soon

Seriously I felt exactly that way - we had the furniture collected on a Friday and slept on inflatable beds in the lounge of our empty house with just the tv and some bottles of wine. I felt physically sick and was - so was my daughter - if was a mixture of excitement/fear and all the adrenalin - I even took daughter to the docs and he gave her some tablets to calm her down - it is normal to get so hyped up. After all it is something you ahve been working towards for a long time.
