Brickie and Nurse need help and info
Hi everyone I'm a Practice Nurse & my husband qualifies as a brick layer in 3 months time.We both currently live & work in the west Midlands & am fed up with not having anywhere nice on our doorstep to visit in our free time that doesn't cost the earth! we think the ozzy lifestyle would suit us & our 2 children -boy 9 & girl 5- we all love barbies/beaches/swimming & warm weather! As we are on a budget we have found a cheap & apparently nice place to live called Dallyup in south Perth. Has anybody got any experience of living & working in this area. Is there a demand for Practice Nurses & how much are they paid there & would my Husband find work around this area & how much would he be likely to earn. Also would my Husband struggle to find work because of lack of on site experience & I currently am registered as a nurse in NZ but have not got current work registration- would it be easier to get nurse registation in Australia with NZ registration & how much would it cost.Hope someone can help us

Just reading your thread.I m from the west mids also.Don t think I can be of any help at the mo.However I m a nurse practitioner and my partner is an spark we have three children I ve just started the process of applying to South Australia and have just sent my application for assessment with the NBSA.I ve also registered with an agency whom at the mo have been very helpful.
As I said were just starting out so it would be interesting to swap experiences
