Bored in Brissie tomorrow night?
.........then be at Gilhooleys about 7.45 for our latest campaign of drinking and gossip!
Mrs D has cried off again for some silly reason like watching the ironing being done, but us stalwart drinkers will be there, supping all the alcohol in sight. Anyone at a loose end, come and join us

Don't get too bladdered I don't want to be lifting you off the train tomorrow, or going to Cairns to pick you up

lol, Polly, if you're relying on me as chaperone I can see the night quickly degenerating into the hazy fuzz of last time....I seem to remember us encouraging eachother to 'just one more drink...'a few times?????

Do you remember that nice Aussie barman asking those two drunken expats if they'd mind going home as he wanted to close the pub.......? Can't imagine who THEY were

Tell me someone, is the Wintergarden in the Queen St. Mall still in existence? What about Rosies a little further up the road?

Its the corner of Albert street and Charlotte Street - very big pub with tables outside, you can't miss it. From the central Station, you walk down Edward Street to its junction with Charlotte Street, turn right and follow it to its junction with Albert. Voila, a large pub with drunken Brit girlies!
Last time we went I posted a map - think its on this thread

Are you coming along Chippie? Excellent!!!
As for Dagboy, well, we said he could come last time, but he preferred to go to a tupperware party or something....
We aren't fussy, anyone who can drink and has cash will do!!!!
