OK......
Bordy ended up staying at our house last night after many many beers...
So here he is.......
Morning all, Bordy here.
Slightly hungover etc but was a great night. Was a pleasure meeting the Perth crowd. Think we got to bed around 4am at Scossies house, the bacon butties & coffee from Mrs Scossie this morning was a life saver.
Maggy... missed you last night but thanks for the letter doll, I'll send you a pm when I get home.
Hevs sorry for the late night phone call from the pub, I forgot we were 2 Hours behind over here.
Mairi, Happy birthday, you have a great accent for an Aussie.
Ok I better go & try & find my way back to the hotel, thanks all for a fantastic night.

Thanks for organising the evening Scossie / Bordy - I enjoyed myself, even if the evening became increasingly hazy.
It was good to meet all you lovely people who were just 'IDs' before now.
Warren - I wasn't at my best when I talked to you at 11ish, so apologies if I was incoherent. I was even worse when I bumped into a prospective future boss just before I left! (This certainly is a small town!).
Never mind, the rush to catch the last train/bus home sobered me up, and gajjitt enjoyed the jog too (didn't you, Paul?).
Looking forward to next time!
Brian

Yes it was a great evening, thanks for organising it. Was good to put names to faces, and nice to meet you all. I'll be keeping my eye open for more.
I couldn't believe how close we were to missing the last train home. The guard held the train for us, 30 seconds later and we'd have been walking. I've never run so fast to catch that bus at Joondalup either. Hehe.
At least I'll be fit enough to run away from these redbacks I keep finding in the garden :scared:
Great evening.
See ya's all again soon.

Re: Bordy heads west! Perth Beerathon: Fri 15th July.
Arrived back in Melbourne tonight, had a great week out West.
Anyone heading to Perth from the UK won't be disappointed in it I can assure you.
As for the Perth Ex Pats well they have to be the closest group of any city over here in Aus. It was really nice meeting some of you & talking to others on the phone Maggy
Its a much much more Mediterranean city than Melbourne also a bit quieter than Melbourne.
We did Fremantle, Subiaco, Kings park and a few others & finished it off at the Finn brothers concert at the Burswood last night.
I have to give a special thanks to Mr & Mrs Scossie for arranging Friday night & then letting Mrs Bordy & myself crash at their house.
Thanks for everything guys.

We had a great day around the markets & town. Had lunch outside & watched the world go by & Mary was all excited as she saw where the My Restaurant Rules place used to be.

So, no Submarine tour then?! Mary did say she was a bit claustrophobic!
