We've been in Mango Hill since around that time and although we like it here, my husband is finding the constant accidents hold-ups on the Gateway a complete nightmare and we decided long ago that as soon as we could we'd try to move closer to his work. We are now fortunate enough to be in a position to buy a property and we've been considering Boondall as that seems to be as close as we can get to the airport with the money we have for what we need.
Thing is, I've not actually met anyone who lives there! All the friends I've made are around the Strathpine/Chermside/Bayside areas so I know nothing about what it's like to live in Boondall. Does anybody here live there or know someone who lives there - what's the noise like from the entertainment centre? Are the facilities in the area any good? I hope somebody can give me a fresh perspective!
Many thanks in advance, Emma

The major headache you will find, is that traffic congestion along Sandgate Rd , the Gateway Highway, and the road linking them past the Centre, will increase dramtically before and after events.
What do you mean by "the facilities"? Do you mean pubs, shopping centres etc?
The closest shopping centres would be either Taigum, Pick and Pay, or Westfield Chermside. There are a few pubs/taverns scattered around the area
