Booking OzForex deals on the weekend
I'm trying to book an OzForex deal but keep getting the message
"Sorry, we cannot continue with this transaction right now."
I've done numerous exchanges with them previously, but I'm wondering if it's perhaps not possible to book a deal on the weekend

No Idea, we use HiFX and do it over the phone with a person!
The rate's good today though 2.5935 to the £ but it is set to go higher.... about 3 months ago I wrote a post on the Economist forecast which mentioned $2.9 to the £..... I was sceptical, but now I'm starting to believe!!! I'm thinking it's going to reach 2.7 very soon indded!

Unfortunately OzForex/UKForex/Tranzfers sites don't provide rates on weekends because the foreign exchange markets are closed which means we cannot hedge transactions in the wholesale market. You can however book deals with us 24 hours between Monday 7.00am Sydney time and Friday 7pm London time. Apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.

Just wondering if there was a time limit for forward-buying as we may not be going for 18months-2 years?
Cheers

12 months is the maximum duration of a forward contract. Please also review this thread regarding other aspects of forwards contracts.
