Default booking flight in australia online etc?

I will be over in australia on a working holiday visa for 12 months next year and i am thinking of meeting up with family in orlando.florida while i am still in australia for 2 weeks.

as i would probably need to book flight etc from over in oz was wondering if cheaper to look online or travel agent if online can anyone recommend well known and popular websites where fair prices could be checked and booked.

Is it expensive to fly from oz to florida or does it work out about the same coming from the uk.

as i will be over in oz i thought i better get some websites etc and maybe if it works out too much i will leave it for another time.

please can anyone recommend some sites

The big ones are www.travel.com.au and www.webjet.com.au. The flight centre is big out here as well. I got my tickets to London from one of their travel expos. Probably saved a couple of hundred dollars. Florida is more than a flight away so you would have to go via LA. I doubt it will be cheap as there is little competition on the route, but you never know.

Smile Try a different routing or multiple tickets

Hi:

Try buying two tickets and I think it comes out less expensive.

Ticket 1: SYD-LAX or SYD-SFO (the two main airports on West US that receive incoming AU flights).

Ticket 2: LAX-MIA or SFO-MIA. There should be many domestic flights since it is a very heavily travelled route. If you have the time put in a 1-2 day break between flights so you can rest a bit or visit some California touristy sites

I've seen SYD-LA fares as low as US$1000 R/T and LAX-MIA fares as low as US$300-400 R/T. Does depend on the time of year.
