Default Booked my berth, I'M OFF TO PERTH....

Sorry, that was a really crap title, I tried to be original but just ended up looking stoopid..

What the hell it's all for a good cause, Visa arrived today so will be able to make the flight that I have booked in 20 days time - WOOHOO

I got a second tax rebate yesterday so I'll be watching the Lottery draw tonight to see if the third thing happens, not that I'm bothered these two will do me just fine. Can't believe this time in 3 weeks I'll be in Perth.

I know most people say something at this point, but honestly I couldn't have got through this without the help of some many of you on here - you all deserve a drink. I'll be in my local all night so feel free to pop in for it anytime Good luck to you all (not picking favourites but especially to mlbonner and lathian as fellow partner sponsors, hang in it can't be long).

Timeline:

Prospective Spouse Visa arrived at AHC: 10 May 04

Money Taken: 10 May 04

Acknowledgement received, also requesting further info from RAF: 28 May 04

RAF info sent: 3 Jun 04

Visa Granted: 7 Jun 04

See you in the pub in 5mins anyone who's joining me

The best thing about the visa is that it says that I must enter the country after my sponsor. Therefore by my reckoning I'll be able to get the window seat for the flight into Perth (day time arrival)so that Caroline is closer to the aisle to get off first. Now if I can only convince her that this is the visa requirement...

Hi Tony

Congrats! When do you go? My sister flies to Perth on 30th. Bet your nervous... she is! It would be good if you could get in touch being your leaving around the same time and doing the same thing. She and her hubby have 3 kids.

Anyway best of luck!

Tracey
