Bonds
We are still here in UK trying to sell a house but could someone help us with a query ?
We got a 139 visa which we were granted in March 2005 and we did our intial entry in April 2005 with the whole family.
My question is with this visa you have to put a assurance of support bond to centrelink which they hold on to for 2 1/2. Does this start with our orginal entry to Australia or when we finally get there to live.

Re: Bonds
Hi Caz
what normally happens is the AOS has a interview with CentreLink and after the AOS has been approved and the bond lodged you THEN get the visa
in some special cases they do not require a bond
so perhaps you are one of the lucky ones
