A bond question
Will I be asked for a bond?
I have just passed as a skilled independent with the TRA and i'm about to proceed with my application through my Agent. I have been reading various post on here which mention bonds which has got me worried.
Will I need one or is it just for applicants who haven't got enough points?
Also is the going rate from start to finish still 50 weeks.
Thanks for any help in advance.

Also, 50 weeks is still a good figure to work too.

Yes it is for applicants without enough points. It gives them 5 'bonus' points if they need it.
Of late the process seems to be taking considerably less than 50 weeks.

Well done!
Hi Darrell,
Just thought I'd say well done with the skills assessment. We haven't lodged ours (Graphic Pre Press) yet but hopefully we'll get started soon.
Best of luck with the next leg!
