Bond lodged 22nd December. How long till visa grant
 

We had our bond lodged on 22nd December (138) non modl. Any ideas how soon we should get e-mail with pre-grant letter?

Hi there

We lodged our bond late early August 2006 and got the grant end of Sept if this helps. However, it was over Xmas when you lodged and also the school hols are on at the moment.

Has your assurer received the ok from Centrelink after they lodged the bond? Once they have received further confirmation by them, then all being well, it should only take another week for you to get the magic email.

Yes, our assurer received letter from Centrelink last week confirming that they met all the criteria needed to be our assurer. Given that Dimia were closed for a few days over xmas and new year I am hoping to receive our e-mail by the end of this week. Our house is now sold and shippers are coming 12th Feb but dont want to book flights until we have the all important e-mail. Hoping to fly out mid march to perth.

We are in a similar boat to you. We have the visa's but are waiting to exchange on the house 2nd feb but I have a third and final interview so they may want me over as soon as possible 4-6 weeks from now. All scary stuff. PM me and we could meet up in perth if you like?

logded ours, 18th Dec recieved visa, 05/01/2007 after a prompting e-mail asking their was anything else they needed.

Anyday soon hopefully
