send our $100k to oz buy the 20th july not aproblem verbally we had agreedto complete the sale of our house on the 17th july it didn't happen as the chain collapsed
emailed oz asked for a time extension which they gave 1st oct great sold the house again (for more money as well ) but same things happened again :cry:
so i now gonna keep it remortgage and rent it out but spoke to my agents and they seem to think they wont give me another extension which leaves me in the s**t somewhat apart from a bridging loan which may just have enough time to do but going to cost about £4k which i dont wanna pay for the sake of three months
also if i do send the $100k to oz will i be able to borrow against this once i land without a job ect as anyone any answers

in my experience here, they won't lend you anything unless you are employed. I couln't get a visa card in my own name even though we had a fair amt in their bank.

Try borrowing the 100k (or a bit more)against your house in the uk, that's what we did, you will have to pay interest but at least it gets you here.
