Lots of people have spoken about Bonds, and we too have gained the extra points by going for the bond option. Can someone clarify when the request for the bond will come through? Is it once the Visa has been granted? or when you validate your Visa?

after having our medicals in april, the requests for our bond money came in june. the letter said we had till the end of july to put the money into an australian bond, however we didnt get the money together till november. The agent we used said as long as you keep them informed this wasnt a problem. the visa was then granted in december, we have till april to validate it.
