WHETHER you call them Speedos, budgie smugglers or sluggos, the message is clear - boys, ditch them now and get into a pair of board shorts.

Sydney women have had enough of men prancing about in the tiny swimmers, according to The Daily Telegraph's survey of sun-lovers.

"Men who wear Speedos should be culled or arrested for indecent exposure," Christine Pappas said, as Deirdre Flynn added: "Speedos are too tight and you don't want to see their bits hanging out everywhere. They're just not nice at all."

Do any normal australian blokes wear speedos :scared: Any self respecting surfer would'nt be seen dead in them.

The only aussies who got away with it were the surf club guys rowing out with the speedos tucked up crack of ass, true before anyone faints, its to get better grip on seat while rowing.

Most surfers wear boardies although there is an old bloke out there in his red sluggos every day no matter the water temp.

I voted for smugglers, just to be different... They're becoming a rarity now - can't remember when I last saw a man in them, apart from swimming competition and magazines.

Not too rare with the paedos on the beaches in Thailand. Probably one of the most disgusting sights I have ever seen.

That thought had crossed my mind too. Cold temperatures and exercise have an effect on that part of the anatomy! (My excuse and I'm sticking to it )
It's got to be boardies. Though there are good boardies and bad boardies.
Good ones IMO don't extend past the knee (for movement) and are soft to touch (reduces chafing).
The fashion with the kids is to wear them low on the waist with the label of your CK boxers showing. Daft.
