BMW (PERTH)

HI
has anybody had any experience in importing their own car from the UK. We have a 2006 BMW 320D that were thinking of selling here before flying over, we have been told we will get £6500 here .
However my friends in Perth has said it might be worth bringing it over to sell in WA, im un sure of the import tax and shipping etc , and after all overheads if it would work out to our benefit.
thanks
Jason

As of this week, the 320d boasts the new common-rail-injected, two-litre turbo engine seen to eyebrow-raising effect last month in the 520d and X3d. It will soon go into the 120d (and may go some way towards redeeming that hideous apparition).

This unit is 20kg lighter than the one that shoved along the 320d we tested almost exactly 12 months ago, with 10 more power and torque points. It also happens to be about 10 per cent more frugal.

There's also this site that has some including a 2006 model

In 2008 they were on sale here, and had been for a while.

Diesels are still not that common in Perth. Thank goodness.

Only for 4x4s and trucks ;)

If you are still 12months off, sell the 320D, get an M3 and bring that.
