A friend of mine has applied for a visa as a chippy over in Oz and has heard that to work on site in Oz you need a "blue card" has anyone heard of this and if not what do you need to work on site as a chippy in Oz

It's a simple half day course in basic H&S costs about a hundred bucks and lasts until everyone has one, at which time they'll introduce another colour so you have to do it all again.
