blubber
I had a nasty shock today, jumped on Mums scales (threw my own out in a fat fit some time ago) and discovered that I've gained 10pounds over xmas!!
I'm not obsessive about weight but if it carries on at this rate I wont fit in my plane seat. Therefore revised resolutions are:
1 Stop spending so much time on this site and get back to the gym.
2 Stop eating daughters xmas chocolate (tough one)
3 Stop getting on other peoples scales.

I have lost weight and never been fitter in Australia. I eat better (not less) and exercise more.
Bring on the abuse.

HOLD IT!!
Mothers' scales ALWAYS weigh heavier - my mums do and so do my M-I-L's.
There was a seven pound difference between my weight in Liverpool on Boxing Day and my scales at home in Harrow - and I don't think a seven hour car journey on the motorway stuffing my face with Frazzles and choccy did it!
So you need to knock at least half a stone off to get a realistic figure, mcmercer.
