Bizarre kitchen question
 

I know this question seems really stupid but since my girlfriend and I decided to emigrate my mum has decided to be really helpful and call upon my very distant cousin in Adelaide to send us the local paper. Our eventual aim if it all works is to build our own houseso ?we were intriguedto see that in kitchen plans there is only room for one appliance (fridge/freezer) - doesn't bother me as a fridge can keep the beers cool and has an icebox for ice for other drinks but my girlfriend thinks this is strange ....any input you guys???? :beer: :beer: :beer:

I keep an extra fridge freezer in the back yard close to the barbie for beer, wine and ice etc.

Not sure what you mean by "appliance"

All new houses will have the place for fridge freezer. also a dishwasher and of course cooking hob and oven etc.
Over here nobody has a washing machine in the kitchen as you will have a whole room designated for laundry where you put the washing machine and dryer. This room also has a large sink and often some cupboard space for storage. Much more efficient this way..one of the things i love about aussie houses!!
