Default Bitten by a little bastard

Hospital thinks it was a Whitetail - and it bloody hurts !!

At first I thought it was a mossie sting, but day after it developed a blister full of yellow manky stuff. That burst, and when I looked a t the raw skin I could see two puncture marks.

Area all around the bite (on my leg) is swollen, red and damn sore.

Was advised by the hospital to come back if area deteriorated - otherwise a course of antibiotics is the only treatment.

So, for those who have not been bitten by a Whitetail yet - now you know.

Sorry to hear. You're a veteran now and can regale the people back home what a dangerous country this is with animals and wildebeests ready to pounce at will on every corner.
