Default Bites............

Currently live in a 'bush' area and no problem with being bitten by anything, but a few times when we've gone to view houses that are not in bush areas I've been bitten on my feet and now my arms!!! :curse:
Any suggestions what I could use to ease the itching and swelling and/or to prevent myself from being bitten again?
Im fed up of scratching!!!! C x

Start putting more garlic in your cooking...apparently biting insects hate it!

Feet could be ants; I found my feet used to get bitten whenever I walked round the garden at the Bloke's old place in open sandals. Nasty itching bites, that feel like they are burning your feet.

Only solution is to wear closed shoes/trainers etc.

You can buy small plastic devices that give a tiny electric shock to the bite when clicked & reduce the swelling/dull the irritation (well Ive bought them in Uk-worked a treat in Mexico-so I would have thought you could get similar in Aus). also citronella strips you can stick to inner wrists as a ward off..

Hi you can get them in oz found them at a camping shop, I tried them on my leg whilst in the shop, (it was a tester one! didn't just open a packet) had to hit a few times so wasn't sure if it did help. didn't buy one.

Paraderm is about the best cream. The zapper thing is good for mozzie bites but not smaller ones.
