Are these viable as a short term let before finding some where permanent.

Hi Mog,

We have just booked one of the big 4 holiday parks in Brisbane for our reccie. We have booked a 3 bedroomed holiday home for 3 weeks. It has all mod cons including dishwasher and washing machine. master bedroom has en suite with tv in bedroom. Just what we need, I would say that its suitable for short term let. Other BE members have recommended it as well as DebbieMc, and you can't go wrong with a recommendation can you? Thats why we have booked it!

good luck!

No probs Jan, we have booked for 3 weeks from 1st November to 22nd and it costs UK £400 per week for 3 bed holiday home. they have 3 bed holiday villas which are slightly different lay out and don't have ensuite to master bedroom, not sure if they have dishwasher or washing machine either but we were quoted £300 per week for that. 2 bedrooms probably cheaper than that. November is classed as mid/low season i think, if that helps!

Get booking!

Yes, We've stayed at the Cobury BIG4.

It's perfectly good & clean. It's also very well placed for exploring the city. There's a little pool & a park for the little ones. We rented a self contained cabin with shower (deep shower tray so you can 'bath' any small kids). A couple of cabins have spa's. We also had electric blankets. It had a telly, cooker with oven and a microwave.

We've stayed at a few BIG4 sites and always found them of a good standard. However, if the weather is cold you do feel it in those cabins but you could always buy a plug in electric heater.

If you become a BIG4 member for the year you get a discounted price and if you stay for a few nights this pays for itself.

If you need any other info just ask...

This is the web-site address for the site in Coburg.

http://www.totaltravel.com.au/link.asp?fid=570475

We are looking at staying there for at least 3 weeks when we first arrive.
