Which are the best and worst suburbs in Toowoomba?
Hi all,
If you had to grade and rank each suburb in Toowoomba, which suburbs would be at the top and which at the bottom of the hierarchy?
As an aside - and I probably risk getting absolutely roasted by forum members for stating this - but I want to avoid living near public housing.
All advise will be much appreciated.
Kind Regards,
Gary

As per your previous posts in reference to Toowoomba - no-one currently on the forum actually lives in Toowoomba (that I'm aware of). I think you'd be hard pressed to get relevant information on such specific requests.
Grading on what terms, ranking on which priorities? Schools, work, views, acreage?

I've just sent a message to someone who used to live there. No idea if she's free to come on and give any insight, probably busy with work but

I've worked a lot in Toowoomba and never really thought of 'suburbs'. However, would suggest that you try to be off the main roads, New England Highway, Warraego Highway, etc...thundering truck noise all day and night!

Hi Jothefw,
Thank you for replying to my post. Much appreciated and all points well noted.
In terms of grading, I am basically looking to avoid suburbs that are "unsavoury".
ie. I want to avoid suburbs where there are drug dealers, drug addicts, roads with skid marks from hoodlums doing figure 8's and burnouts, houses with filthy yards, driveways littered with broken down cars, walls filled with grafitti, neighbourhoods where burglaries occur on a daily basis, pavements littered with syringes, places where people have fierce fights and arguments on patios that can be heard at the other end of the street, where people play loud music that everyone in the street can hear, streets that are not safe to walk in day or night, etc. etc. etc...basically, any place where, if you lived there, you would think it was a bit of a hell hole.
Kind Regards,
Gary
