I'll be arriving at Avalon Airport but will then need to get to Tullamarine for the flight back to London. Can anyone shed any light as to what would be the best way to get between the 2?

If anyone has taxi rates that would be great.

We flew into Avallon from Sydney and it is a fair distance (about 40 minutes) from Tullamarine - I know our family weren't best pleased about collecting us from there. It is literally a tiny airfield in the middle of nowhere with a small building that pretends to be a terminal. I didn't see any taxi ranks at all so would imagine that you would have to book one and I imagine that the fare would be pretty steep.

The taxi fare is likely to be in the order of $100 to $120 ... allow an hour between the two airports.
