Default best way forward ?

i have been mooching through the archives so have some info on my dilema but would much appreciate some advice.

i am flirting with the idea of applying to TRA for hubby in order to lodge app with DIMMA for move to melbourne. (as you can see i am at very early stages)

dilema is my mom, i was going to put her on our application but if she fails health check i understand that whole application would be turned down ??!!

would i be best to get a medical for her before i apply to assess the risks? or not lodge her but try and get her through on a different application if/when we got in?? i was going to try and class her as dependant (need to research this more).

we are already at a disadvantage as due to the uk's outrageous judicial system my husband has an unfair blemish on his records however, according to threads unless you have hacked someone to death they are not overly worried.

so much to think about. i am only 31 but will look at least 70 if i do ever manage to get there!
