Best Time to Sydney, Gold Coast, Melborne
 

Hi there...

I wanted to visit Sydney, Gold Coast and Melborne next year but i dunno what is the best time to go there and which place to start from...

I'll be glad if anyone can tell me... I like the weather to be cold but not too cold :p but not summer... hehe... i like cool air.... :).... And im wondering when is the school holidays? So that it won't be too crowded when i visit aus that time... U guys can tell me the interesting places there too, if not too much of a hassle :D

I went to these places in August(end of Winter) and it was beautiful.
Sydney and Melbourne were in the 50's/60's Farenheit 15-20 Celcius
with sunny skies. Cairns(Great Barrier Reef) was in the 80's Farenheit
25-27 Celsius and also beautiful. It only rained one of my 15 days.

for melb and sydney, try late april or may. june, july, august are the
coldest months. gold coast is usually warm most of the year but cooler
during winter (mid year).

Try about right now or early September (for Melbourne). Any later and it
gets to warm. Right now, the sun is out but there's still a cool breeze. So
it's next and sunny. Warm but not hot.
Melbourne is an outdoor city and is at it's best exploring the city on foot.
During the colder months it can get pretty bad when the rain just buckets
down.
Around November-December things heat up and can get very uncomfortable. The
heat here isn't like the heat in Asia, where it's humid. Here, it just
burns.
How long are you here for? If you're planning about a month, I'd start up
North. Start from around Noosa, down to Brisbane, then the Gold Coast, then
Sydney and Melbourne.
If you're after a bit of the single guy's reason for travelling, then the
Gold Coast area is known for schoolies week around November. Basically it's
the Australian equivalent of the summer frat party. Just a lot of the senior
high school students partying out for a couple of days, drinking, raving and
bonking. Officially, two out of the three isn't officially endorsed but
well, it's warm, there's a lot of attractive people around and it's easier
to find a pub/bottle shop in Australia then a petrol station. It's all good.

Hey, thanks for the precious information.. i thought of going there around november actually, but now come to think about it, since it's around school holidays and it's getting warmer then..better not!..hehe... then i think around Sept will be just nice since the spring is just started..

Actually, i will be going there with my boyfriend.... probably stayed there for 6 days or so only... i think gold coast will be a fantastic place to get hot over there! :D...then probably after so much fun... go to a more relaxing place to enjoy the weather or so, i think sydney will be a good place...

What do u think? :)

If it's six days, that Sydney would be a good place. There's a couple of
pretty romantic spots just south of Sydney. Actually, try this website

They've advertised a great spot there.

We have just been to these places in late August. Things were just starting to warm up. So I would say that September would be just lovely.
