My partner & I are moving to Auckland in a couple of weeks time and although we have somewhere to stay short term, we want to find out what are the best suburbs in and around Auckland. My partner will be working for a spell in Hamilton and her employer has suggested Epsom, Onehunga & Green lane as being convenient for commuting to Hamilton. All the advice I have seen so far suggest that south of Auckland is not ideal but I don't know if these places fall into that bracket.
