They give instant on line quotes.
Just remember that prices will vary considerably depending on what dates you travel.
If you can avoid school holiday times or around Christmas etc.
Good luck

Good flight arrival times seem to be going fairly quickly though for around that time.

Re: Best Sites For Aussie Flight Insurance And Best Flight Prices
We used ebookers.com in the end. We searched them all for the best flight prices Bestflights, Lees, Austravel, etc...and found that only Travelbag who are part of ebookers) and ebookers themselves came up with the best deals.
We fly 8th Dec LHR- SFO (San Francisco)-SYD for £445 +taxes
2 Adults 2 Kids (15+11) so effective 3 Adults = Total: £1859 inc taxes.
We get a free stopover in SFO ( we have to find our own acc tho) so we'll cruise around the bay under the bridge, stretch our legs, get a good nights sleep and continue refreshed!
It's easier travelling west than east timezone wise, just not as quick....25hrs in the air!
Can't wait!

Re: Best Sites For Aussie Flight Insurance And Best Flight Prices
We ended up going to ebookers.com to book our flights to Perth in Jan.
£414 each plus taxes. Came to £467 each (one way). It was a pound or so cheaper than going direct to Singapore Airlines.
Try going direct to airlines first...Emirates, Malaysian and Singapore always seem to have good prices as do Royal Brunei. But I have heard some negatives about the customer service from Royak Brunei.
Mother and father fly emirates and LOVE it. Hubby just used Singapore and had a fantastic flight. Raved about the service and staff. In fact his whole check-in experience was the easiest I have ever seen. Like flying from Bristol rather than Heathrow!
Good luck.

ebookers have good prices but be careful, customer service is a little
lacking - email responses are v. slow and if you book online they won't
speak to you on the phone. This time I'm going to use
http://www.flights-international.com who are a tenner dearer but you can
talk to a real person if owt goes wrong.

And to top it all I never even called them...they called me! I clicked on their "Call Back" logo and the phone ran 10 seconds later!
Even better...when I had a querie over something, I emailed them back to ask the question and...get this... they called me back! Within 5 minutes!!
Then followed it up with an email which I recieved whilst I was on the phone!
Sorry about your bad experience but I can't knock them for the service they gave us.
Very good...and very cheap!
Also....we are flying United Airlines over USA and they have allowed us a total of 64kg each for luggage! (2 cases x 32 kg each) Plus two pieces for the cabin, no weight restriction as long as it fits in the lockers.
Don't know if we have that much stuff to take!!!
I pity the bell-hops in SFO!

Only 32 days to go!!!.....

Perhaps it's because I was trying to get a refund...
That baggage allowance is standard for flights through the US - not a
special ebookers thing.
