Best place in Perth
My partner and I have been looking at the possibility of moving to Brisbane, but after being warned by members of this forum about the humidity we are now considering Perth as an alternative. Can anyone advise us on suburbs that we should be looking at. We have a 6 year boy, so an area thats good for families with a bit of life, near to school and shops would be great.

We are in Perth and if there is anything we have learnt from the forum over the years is DO NOT make life changhing decions based on peoples opinions here.
Sure, there is some excellent advice and help BUT nothing is better than seeing things for yourself. We were really concerned about how "boring" and how bad things were in Perth and it nearly made us choose somewhere else - thankfully we didn't !
Do a search on the forum about areas as there are hundreds of opinions but nothing will be better than actually coming over (if possible), driving round an area and getting the feel for it - Brisbane included. The humidity can't be that bad if there are loads going over every year !
Good luck with the choices

GOOD ANSWER!
That just about says it all.
Dont listen to other peoples opinions , as everyone is different.
We are in Brisbane and the weather and humidity are fine.
We have only been here 11 weeks and when it drops down to 20 ish on a night we now comment on how cold it is.
You get used to where you are.
Go to Perth by all accounts but dont rule out everywhere else.
Good luck
