Best place to live nr Brisbane - Young family

Where are the nice areas to live near Brisbane CBD. We have a young family and ideally would like to be near the beach. Thought of Redcliffe but had a few negatives to re thinking how about South Brisbane?? Thanks Nicky

No beaches in/very near to Brisbane CBD(except the artifical one at South Bank) - try Bayside perhaps?
