Best Bank Deals?

Hi Guys,

Looking for some latest info ...

Need a new bank account for our Little Athletics group.

Would like minimal charges, no credit requirement but biggest wishlist item is electronic signatories, perhaps by two people?? Westpac do a token system which would be good so I'm going to ring them first.

Any other ideas? Been looking at each of the banks but not many state the details on signatories :sneaky:

ANZ and Commonwealth do the token system as well.

Thanks Punk. Commonwealth don't appear to do a "community group" account, ie no fees so I think it'll be Westpac or ANZ.

My daughter's rowing squad as a community account through Commonwealth but it may have been an older account that is grandfathered in.

We changed to Bank of QLD - they use a token, We found they were the only bank here that had staff who knew what they were talking about, with owner/managers.

Sorry if this is too late but....NAB do free banking and I'm told that they do the two signatory thing. :)

probably won't be applicable for you... but RAMS (westpac) are doing a good deal right now:

RAMS Saver account

High Interest Savings Account

RAMS Saver pays a high bonus variable rate of 5.75% p.a. (that's the variable base rate of 4.95% p.a. plus 0.8% p.a. variable bonus*) when the following monthly conditions are met:

make deposits totalling at least $200 during the month,
make no withdrawals during the month, and
have an account balance that does not fall below $0 or exceed $500,000 at any time during the month.
