Best airline for excess baggage
 

Wondered if anyone had any recommendations on the best airline to use flying Vancouver to Sydney, We have 3 suitcases, 4 Pelican cases, 2 Bikes and 2 ski bags (5 pairs of skis total, I've had some airlines charge per pair of skis before.)

We were looking at flying with Virgin but we would end up paying $150USD per bag on the 7 extra bags and I would rather not pay $1000 in excess baggage.
