Hi, sorry kids going mental so need to pick your brains and no time to go on search. Our two main bed mattresses were ruined by water damage in the container. Insurance company UK says we can try and get two new ones flown from UK to oz (as ikea ones and different sizes in Aus so have to get them flown over
Need to find a cheap air freight company from Uk to brisbane? anyone any ideas?x

Sizes not that different Surely it would be cheaper for them to replace with Aus ones? Are you sure about Ikea having different sizes anyway - I thought that Ikea was Ikea regardless of where you are.

Oh believe me, they are!!! having done extensive phone research, seem to have spoken to every flipping bed specialist and Ikea in Oz. As Ikea matresses 'slot in' to our beds, the superking ones here are too big (and would bevel, damaging the mattress) and the king too small . Have tried elsewhere but oz operate on different mattress sizing. The only other solution would be to have foam ones made to fit which would cost a bomb or buy new beds totally which the insurance company wouldn't pay for. Also cant' find a bed as big and nice as our UK superking , so off to look up excess baggage! Chers for your help!
