Default Been offered ENS Visa for NSW. Does this mean I won't need to pay school fees?

Hey Guys,

I've been offered employment with a company in Sydney and they've said I qualify for the ENS Visa. I have a valid skills assessment from the ACS and I'm on the skills list.

I'm wondering does anyone know, as I would be on a ENS visa does this entitle me and my family to the benfits a permanent Australian resident would get such as Medicare and school fees? Public school fees in NSW are $4500 per child per year and as I have a 2 children this would total the $9000. Not having to pay this would make a big difference.

Does qualifying for Medicare mean I won't have to take out expensive medical insurance?

Thanks in advance

Yes, ENS is PR. You would be entitled to all the same benefits as any other PR.

If your kids are teenagers, you should be aware that there are some awful high schools in Sydney. Primary schools seem to be OK though.
