Bedtime
Yahoo!
Just got a call from the shippers (Crown). Delivery due tomorrow.
At last, no more camp chairs, no more blow up mattress, no more same 20 CDs to listen to...
Hurray for the sofa!
Hurray for the bed!
Hurray for the CDs!
Booked the day off work to take delivery. Then we're just going to bounce from sofa to bed all day, listening to every CD we own

Wahey for you!! I can't wait until my stuff arrives either!
Word of warning though - some friends of ours waited for 4 months for their stuff and slept on a blow up bed the whole time - they got their bed, jumped into it looking forward to a comfy night - and neither of them could get to sleep - too comfy! In the end they ended up on a blow up bed again!
Sam said it took them at least a week to get used to comfort again.

Knowing my luck, we'll spend all evening sorting stuff out, re-arranging furniture, deciding which picture to hang where etc etc that I'll be so knackered and sleep just about anywhere!
Thanks for the word of warning though.
What are you missing the most from your shipment?

I slept on a carpeted floor for a few weeks, with a double quilt wrapped around me.
Went to a slim mattress, and that seemed bizarre....
still haven't used a pillow for 2.5 months!!

lucky you!
ours has been with customs for a few weeks now, no sign yet.
In some ways I'm getting used to living with basics and clutter free is good, but I cant wait to get my clothes, shoes and books!

Funny how everyone mentions the bed. But I totally agree!
We shipped more expensive items, and we definitely shipped more sentimental items - but seeing our bed again......
...we'd forgotten just how comfy it is!!

And once it gets in your head it's a sod to get out...

BAST**D, fancy bringin that tune up, if theres any out there who need help with the lyrics, here goes
SING ALONG NOW AT WORK AND HOME!!!!!!
There's a voice that keeps on calling me
Down the road is where I'll always be
Every stop I make, I'll make a new friend
Can't stay for long, just turn around and I'm gone again.
Maybe tomorrow, I'll want settle down,
Until tomorrow, I'll just keep moving on.
Down this road, that never seems to end,
Where new adventure, lies just around the bend.
So if you want to join me for a while
Just grab your hat, come travel light - that's hobo style.
Maybe tomorrow, I'll want settle down,
Until tomorrow, the whole world is my home.
So if you want to join me for a while
Just grab your hat, come travel light
That's hobo style.
Maybe tomorrow, I'll want settle down,
Until tomorrow, I'll just keep moving on.
Instrumental Bridge
Maybe tomorrow, I'll want settle down,
Until tomorrow, I'll just keep moving on.
There's a world, that's waiting to unfold,
A brand new tale, no one has ever told,
We've journey'd far but, you know it won't be long,
We're almost there and we've paid our fare, with the hobo song.
Maybe tomorrow, I'll want settle down,
Until tomorrow, I'll just keep moving on.
So if you want to join me for a while
Just grab your hat, come travel light - that's hobo style.
Maybe tomorrow, I'll find what I call home
Until tomorrow, you know I'm free to roam.

I can only remember the tune for the chorus though, which means I'm on a loop of about 5 seconds. Driving me mad!!!
