Loved today's family-they were so enthusiastic whilst being realistic at the same time. She's obviously worked really hard to ensure her sons get the best possible future. I hope it all goes really well for them :thumbup:

firstly like to say hi to all...newbie here:D

just watched todays programme...and thats all im going to say is....what a great family,and i wish her and her sons all the best,its great to see today where the whole family are all up for it,even thou she a single parent.
and when they showed the film of her family and friends not one of them told them no to go:thumbup:

it would be nice if she was/is a member of this site..to tell us all how things are going with her move.

as coming from the same town as her....i totally agree its going to be a better life for her boys and her..leaving here.:thumbsup:

I agree with you, and wish her all the luck in the world.
What an inspiration she is, i thought i was scared doing this with my husband by my side and she is going it alone:eek:

I agree she was a lovely lady on todays show i wish her and the boys all the best with thier future downunder.

As for yesterdays i think that the job he has here would be still there in a few years time, i felt sorry for his wife whos dreams were crashed.

Just watched todays show, and like others thought the family was very positive and feel sure they`ll make a go of it in Oz.

Thought the mum did great to get where she is, and the boys were a credit to her.

I havent seen todays yet, but yesterdays got on my bloody nerves.

yes he had a good job and future prospects in the uk
yes emigrating isnt for everyone
yes everyone has a choice

but come on:curse:
i thought this programme was aimed at people who had a definite interest in emigrating, i know that people are allowed to change their minds, but he didnt want to do it in the first place, so what a total bloody waste of time.:confused:

This programme is in it second week, it starts at 9.15 - 10am every morning on BBC1.

I completely agree! Other people could have had the place who actually wanted to move. Because the wife isnt going to leave the husband just to move there

When i first heard Wanted Down Under was back on I could'nt wait but what a load of bo--ocks the only family that has deserved to be on it was today
at leased they knew what they wanted in life and not farting around What a nice well balanced family they were, all credit to a good Mother

Nothing wrong with the couple in Cairns seemed a great couple to me and very well balanced and knew exactly what they wanted.
