I know - its a bit sad really isn't it lol. The worst is knowing I've got a long wait . . . but if I keep thinking its (hopefully) only 3 more christmas days here it doesn't seem as far away lol.

How is the Gold coast? Is it good for kids or too touristy?

It's wonderful for kids

yes there's the 'touristy' bits but it's not all like that, there's beautiful scenery too :D

Re: BBC - Wanted Down Under

Just watched todays episode and was very interested to see Melbourne. However Gill and I were a bit surprised that they didn't cover the medical issues for the bloke and whether he would pass or not?
It would be cruel if they went all through that, decided to go and then found out his medical condition was a no go.
Worse, as it has been left, any half interested viewers will be unaware that the couple would potentially have been denied a visa anyway.
I feel a complaining email to the bbc

Re: BBC - Wanted Down Under

Its so cheesy - it shows you them when they have got back first, then makes them spin the oh-so-important cards at the end, and then repeat it virtually straight after lol.

It is nice to see the places, although there didn't seem much shown about melbourne???

I think if the bbc promoted how hard it is to get the tra/visas etc and how many people DON'T get accepted - it would be too factual and less of a drama. . . .

oh well

Let me know when you're going to be on, bet you're dead excited!!! - We're hoping to go to Adelaide in October, so i'm desperate to see as much as i can.

Serious 2 of wanted down under can be seen/downloaded from the BBC website, you've got 7 days to watch it from when it's first broadcast - saves having to set the video! I watched the Melbourne one this morning, but will be at work tomorrow for the Perth episode so i'll be downloading it tomorrow night via the pc.
