Re: BBC - Wanted Down Under
Adelaide on today's episode and it (Adelaide) is beginning to grow on me.
Odd too how hard it is to pick how the people (the contestants?) are going to choose. Today, they all loved the homes but the guy was disappointed in his job and the lady revealed her trepidation about leaving her parents. But they picked Australia. I wonder if someone is going to tell me that as it's a repeat they changed their mind or they did n't like it after all and came 'home'? Dave ps got a feeling that SA is the only state that did not develop from a penal colony? |
Re: BBC - Wanted Down Under
Yes its the only state that developed from free settlers so i beleive. Cant wait to get there

You`re bound to disagree with my opinion (well you`re hardly going to criticise yourselves are you). If you were open-minded you will admit, that if your kids wanted to move to Oz but you didn`t.. then you wouldn`t have gone ! You didn`t move for your childrens sake, You moved for your own. Call me imature if you wish, but at 39 don`t expect me to agree. I hope no one decides to air their opinion on here in future, in-case it`s different to your own.. now that would be naughty wouldn`t it.. How dare they! Oh, by the way. If taking your children away to a new country isn`t wrong, then why do you have "Guilt". Strewth :curse: 39 years old and still single. I wonder why? Tina |

Nothing else left to say, very well covered in the replies above.
Particulary liked ozzieclare2b's answear though:thumbsup: Johnnyyt
 been reading all these posts and he has obviously got what he wanted........ ATTENTION! Like a child shouting and stamping his feet albeit the negative kind. Everyone on here with kids has already experienced both the single life and now family life so can choose more of an informed descision with a more open mind and life experience to compare it too. THE END! |
Thanks, Tina, for making me feel really low! I'm (the shame, the shame) nearly 54 (ANZAC Day so I don't even get a day off for it in the UK) and still a loser (single I mean) and a Spurs supporter to boot. I'll have to wear my hair shirt again this weekend.
Dave ps I don't agree with any of his comments by the way.[/QUOTE AARR SORRY Dave nothing wrong with being single and over 39,but this guy is a right whatsname. But being a Spurs fan now thats another matter ha ha. Tinax, |

Re: BBC - Wanted Down Under
The only posts i have ever read from Randy have been quite spiteful....i dont think i have ever seen a nice post from him at all.
I think really and truly people, the best thing to do is to totally ignore him and his ever so silly comments...he is entitled to his opinion obviously, but when its about something he cannot relate to then really who gives a shit????? Dont reward him with comments as hes sitting there laughing at the replies and saying more to get your backs up...and its working. Just ignore. You know what you are doing for your family is whats best for you, he is obviously jealous that he has no family of his own and wants to mock others...i have a sister like that!!! Your second post got the backlash it deserved. You need to think before you post, otherwise people WILL ignore you. If you put the effort in, like most of us are doing, then people will give you help and support if you need it. Just try being nice, you might enjoy it and start to attract the right kind of attention. (That's me being nice by the way!) |
