Banking Query
 

Hey All,

I have just received an international cheque, and want to pay it into my Australian Bank account. However, it is turning out to be a bit of a pain, and says it can take up to 7 weeks to clear :blink:

Is there any other way of getting a cheque cleared that anyone knows of? Its a bank issued cheque, and from NZ.

Hi NZBee all I can say is I work for Westpac and as long as you have suffient accounts and business with them to show that a bouncing cheque will be covered, they will cash it on the day but with fees of about $28. Hope this helps.
