Bananas
If you've got to do Melbourne to Sydney as part of a Melbourne to London long haul, does that pose problems in taking bananas from Vic to NSW? We'd hoped to have a couple of bananas for what would be the equivalent of our little ones dinner, but that won't be till we're on the Sydney to Melbourne leg. I have absolutely no idea if you can buy bananas in Sydney airport, otherwise that would be simplest I guess.

Re: Bananas
Flying between NSW & VIC & QLD, unofficially, no problem. Entering S.A. and W.A. however a different matter as they do have fruit detector dogs in arrivals (even domestic). So defo between Sydney and Melbourne, just take them. BTW I've done ts route up to 30 times year, so pretty familiar.
