Ha! The fact that everyone is running round in circles on the Shapelle thread and noone has answered this one is exactly the same as in the press reactions here. You can't move for pictures of Shapelle behind bars (and incidentally how much makeup does she have with her in jail!?!??!)
Don't think there's much room for doubt that these guys did it (unless the bagage handlers strapped the drugs to them when they weren't looking... :rolleyes: ) but I reckon the media circus will really get going on this one when they're facing a firing squad.

I will never agree to the death penalty no matter what crime has been committed, however, to give the instigator of the bali boming 4 years or whatever and then life or a death sentence to someone carrying drugs just doesn't seem fair to me.

That's the problem with Indonesian law isn't it.... 4 years for all that carnage, or 20 years/death sentence for smuggling. Just don't get it.
