Baggage Storage Melbourne

Hi All, I have been using all your advice like a life line for the last few months and I apologise if this has been asked before but I can't obviously find and threads regarding my question.

My Husband and I have a PRV and have our flights booked to arrive in Melbourne on May 30th. We are not 100% sure if Australia is the right place for us (long story) so we have decided to spend June to September investigating.

Firstly we plan on spending 5 weeks around Port Douglas /Whit Sundays treating ourselves to a long overdue R&R. Our flight over allows us both to bring 30Kg on board plus 10Kg cabin. We were considering leaving some luggage behind in Melbourne. The airport storage option is working out as quite expensive.

I was wondering if anybody has any suggestions or has done something similar.

Many thanks in advance

Anne

Hi Anne

There are some self storage options in Melbourne which rent by the week. Also some accommodation providers (such as us) will permit you to leave your luggage free of charge if you are booking accommodation.
